Music and Lyrics by Diane Diamond Schulte
Diane Diamond Schulte has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from California State University at Northridge, has written for the University Press, and is a former editor of DFD PublicationsTM. She learned to play guitar when she was seven, and supported herself through college by teaching guitar and playing in local bands. After having three children, she decided to combine her love of writing, music, and children, and went back to CSUN to earn a Professional Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. As a teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District, she brings music enrichment into the curriculum as a vehicle to encourage students to discuss their feelings. She is the recipient of the Digital Voice Award for outstanding achievement in the category of “Anti-Bullying Video Production, Elementary Level.” She lives and works in West Hills, California.
Special Thanks
Special thanks to my husband, Rick, and my parents, Phil and Selma, who have always encouraged me to follow my dreams and never doubt myself. To my children, Justin, Alysa, and Kyle, who have taught me more about life and humanity than I have taught them. To my brother, Steve, who helped smooth the rough edges of my GarageBand® recording with his endless patience and Pro Tools® skills. To my dear cousin, Shendl, whose guidance, support, and publishing skills made this project a reality. I am forever grateful.
